Fun Phooshoots for fun-loving people!
Who wants a boring photoshoot? As a photographer I love to capture personalities and genuine moments of fun. The majority of my photoshoots take place outdoors and combine both posed photos and more candid shots. Each photoshoot is as unique as you are, and more importantly should be fun and never feel like work for you!
I have covered:
- Babies, Toddlers & Children
- Birthday Parties
- Cake Smash
- Baptisms
- Couples' Shoots
- Events
- Headshots
- Lifestyle and Personal Branding Shoots
- Themed Shoots and creative photoshop editing

What happens during a photoshoot?
Whether you are booked for a mini-session or a full day shoot, fun and playfulness are at the heart of my work. No saying 'cheese' (unless of course you feel like it!) no awkward posing. Instead we explore and find our shots together through fun and play. We do get the posed photos too, but through naturally exploring what works best for you.
As the mum of a very energetic toddler myself I appreciate that not all children (and for that matter adults) have the patience to pose for the camera, and each session is unique as I work to you and your energy.
Where do you do photoshoots?
My sessions take place in Southeast and Central London. I have several core locations in the Mottingham/Eltham area as well as in Central London, or am happy to travel to a location meaningful to you.
I have shot in parks, city streets, back gardens, at festicals, in churches, and in homes.
What is the best time of day for a family photoshoot?
The best time of day depends on several factors, including the time of year and the aesthetic of the shoot. Classic outdoor shoots often take place around the Golden Hour (shortly after sunrise or in the hours before sunset) when the light is softer and more flattering. It is generally best to avoid high noon (especially in the summer time) when shadows and contrasts will be harsher.
That said, it is also important that everyone involved in the photoshoot is happy and comfortable, so if you have a toddler who is happiest right in the middle of the day we can find ways to make that work (I have a few locations that offer fantastic lighting at nearly any time.)
I am primarily a natural light photographer, but do cary a small portable lighting kit, to make sure we can get beautiful images of you no matter what.
When will I get my photos?
I always give a sneak peak of a few photos within 24 hours of the shoot, either on instagram or direct to your inbox.
For portrait sessions I will send you a digital selects gallery of low resolution watermarked images within two weeks of the shoot. You are welcome to download and share any images from the selects gallery.
Your selected images will be retouched and delivered to you in a high resolution format suitable for printing within one week of receiving your selects. Physical prints can be purchased separately
If you require a quicker turnaround please discuss with me in advance to make sure it will be possible.
How much does a photoshoot cost?
Portrait sessions start from £175 for a one hour shoot.
I also offer mini-sessions a few times a year, starting from £35, which is a great chance to get a few portraits and a taster session on a budget. Keep an eye on my home page or like and follow my Facebook and Instagram pages for updates.
Cost for event coverage is quoted on an individual basis.
Visit the Pricing Page for more detailed information.
How Can I Book?
To book a photoshoot please contact me with some information about the type of photoshoot you are looking for.
We will agree a date and time, and I will send a contract to confirm your booking. A deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking to guarentee your date. The balance is due on receipt of your selects gallery. Final images will be sent once full payment has been received.
Shoots cancelled more than two weeks in advance are fully refundable. Shoots cancelled less than two weeks are non-refundable, but may be transferred to an alternate date (subject to availibility). In the event of a forecast of bad weather outdoor shoots may be rescheduled.
